Opening hours
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Last entry is at 5.45 p.m.
The Musée Rodin is closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25.
PLEASE NOTE :
- The ticket office closes at 5.30 p.m., an hour before the museum closes.
- The rooms begin to close at 6.15.
- In winter, the sculpture garden closes at nightfall for safety reasons.

Ten or more people are considered a group. The museum offers a range of group activities, including guided or self-guided tours, educational tours, drawing workshops, storytelling tours and treasure hunts. There are also special tours for priority audience groups (from the disability and community sectors).

FREE ADMISSION
Are you entitled to free admission? If so, you don’t need to book in advance but you must present valid proof of entitlement at the museum entrance (under 26 years old from the EU, french teachers, french art history students under 30, journalists, jobseekers in France… see full conditions here)
FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
The Musée Rodin is free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month, from October to March. No need to book in advance

Explore the Musée Rodin and its sculpture garden in the company of Dante and Clarissa!
Dante―the author of The Divine Comedy―has come back to life and is desperate to find his beloved Beatrice! To reach her, he has to get through Rodin’s Gates of Hell and answer a series of questions. With the help of a character called Clarissa―a trainee museum guide―young players must help Dante get through to the final quiz. This challenge, involving clues and interactive games, takes them on an exploration of the works in the museum and its garden.

A free cloakroom is available in the Hôtel Biron, at the entrance to the permanent collections.
Toilets and baby changing facilities
There are toilets and baby changing facilities on level-1 of the museum entrance hall. Toilets are also available in the sculpture garden. The toilets on the first floor of the permanent collections are reserved for disabled visitors.
Strollers
Only umbrella-type strollers are allowed inside the museum.
“Vigipirate” security measures
To ensure the safety of our visitors, the Musée Rodin implements the “Vigipirate” security measures decided by the French government to protect cultural institutions. Consequently, suitcases (of all sizes) and large bags are prohibited; only small backpacks are allowed.
